Sam Payne: Photos
Sandy City, July 4, 2007
- The band at the Sandy City July 4th show.

- Joe Anderson (sound magician--if Joe's behind the board, you stop worrying) ran the 4th of July show, and just today sent along a few photos (right on time. It's cooling down, and good to remember summer days). What a gorgeous night. Thanks, Joe!

- Steve Lemmon and me. Him on that gorgeous Breedlove. Me with the "man, remember those Chik-fil-A nuggets we had before the show" look on my face.

- Cherie Call and me. Cherie is Joe's wife, and writes songs that could save your life on a dark and stormy night. She favored us by singing "Sunflower" with me on the 4th. Such a pleasure.

- Steve, setting up hours before the Sandy show. By showtime, there was nary a patch of lawn to be seen. Steve's holding an old Rickenbocker 12-string (our friend Kevin Jones used to own it). This was its maiden voyage with us. Sounded great.

- Flaig from the back. Bee-ootiful night, with ten thousand of our closest frineds!

- Singin' in Sandy. I bought the shirt I'm wearing across the street at Target for four bucks. Bargain!

- Ryan in Sandy. Boy, when he turns on those demon glowing eyes, the show really starts to cook.

- Drew and I at the Sandy show.

- "Comin' Just to Go" at the Sandy show. Drew, myself, and Ryan up front. Steve, unflappable, on the kit behind. Lemmon wandering just out of frame.
